Terms of Service

Last updated 14 October 2026

Agreement to our legal terms

These terms are set by Global Vextra AI Ltd, which is registered in Scotland under company number SC889787 and has its registered office at 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh EH2 4AN. In these terms, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ mean Global Vextra AI Ltd.

We run the website https://www.globalvextraai.com and the Global Vextra AI app, together with any related service that refers or links to these terms (together, the ‘Services’). Global Vextra AI is software sold by subscription: you upload a long video, we transcribe it, use AI to suggest moments that can stand on their own as short clips, and cut, reframe and caption those clips for you to review, edit and download.

These terms (the ‘Legal Terms’) are a binding agreement between you — personally or on behalf of a business — and us, and they govern how you may reach and use the Services. By creating an account or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Legal Terms. Anyone who does not accept them is not permitted to use the Services.

Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund Policy, and any extra terms we show you in the app for a particular feature or offer, form part of these Legal Terms. Section 15 explains how we change them.

The Services are only for people who are at least 18 years old. We suggest saving or printing these Legal Terms so you can refer back to them later.

Questions or concerns? If anything here is unclear, email us at support@globalvextraai.com before you use the Services.

Summary of key points

This overview does not replace the full terms below.

  • Your content stays yours. You own the videos you upload and the clips made from them. You give us only the licence we need to run the Services (section 9).
  • Plans are monthly minutes with a hard limit. When you reach your plan’s minutes, new processing pauses until the plan resets or you upgrade. We never charge for usage beyond your plan (section 5).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time (section 6).
  • AI output can be wrong. Review clips and text before you publish them (section 1).
  • Use the Services lawfully and only with content you have the rights to (sections 7 and 8).
  • Scots law applies, and consumers keep the protections of the law where they live (section 16).

1. Our services

In Short: The Services turn long videos into short clips with the help of AI. Features depend on your plan, and AI output must be checked before you publish it.

The Services let you upload a video, have it transcribed, receive AI suggestions for moments that work as short clips, and have those clips cut, reframed and captioned. You can review and edit clips before and after they are made, and download them. Optional tools write titles, descriptions, hashtags and SEO reports.

The features available to you depend on your plan and are described on our pricing page. We improve the Services often, so features may change. If we remove something that is a main part of a paid plan you are on, we will tell you first, and you may cancel.

AI-generated output. Clip choices, transcripts, captions, hooks, titles, hashtags, clip scores and similar suggestions are produced automatically and may be inaccurate. A clip score ranks one video’s clips against each other; it is not a prediction of views or results, and we do not promise any particular outcome from posting clips. You are responsible for reviewing output before you publish it, for what you publish and where, and for following each platform’s own rules.

Where you use the Services. The Services are run from the United Kingdom. Information on the Services is not intended for use in any country where that would break local law or require us to register there. If you use the Services from another country, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with the local laws that apply to you.

Regulated data. The Services are not designed to meet industry-specific rules such as the US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) or the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). You must not use them for data covered by those rules, or in a way that would breach the US Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).

2. Intellectual property rights

In Short: We own the Services and our brand. You may use them under these terms. Your clips belong to you, and feedback you send us may be used freely.

Our intellectual property. We own, or are licensed to use, all intellectual property rights in the Services, including the software, source code, databases, design, text, graphics and other material (the ‘Content’), and our name, logo and other trade marks (the ‘Marks’). They are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws in the UK and around the world. The output made from your videos is not our Content — it belongs to you (section 8).

Your use of the Services. As long as you comply with these Legal Terms, we grant you a personal licence, which is not exclusive, cannot be transferred and can be withdrawn, to access and use the Services for your own purposes or your business’s purposes, including publishing the clips you make wherever you choose. No other rights in the Content or the Marks are granted. If you want to use our Content or Marks in any other way, ask us at support@globalvextraai.com. A serious breach of this section is a material breach of these Legal Terms, and your right to use the Services may end.

Feedback. If you send us questions, ideas, suggestions, bug reports or other feedback about the Services (‘Feedback’), we may use it for any lawful purpose, including improving the Services, without paying you or owing you anything. Feedback does not give us any rights in your videos or clips. Please do not include confidential information in Feedback.

Copyright complaints are covered in section 13.

3. User representations

In Short: You promise that the information you give us is true and that you will use the Services lawfully.

By using the Services, you confirm that:

  1. the information you give us when you register is true, accurate, current and complete, and you will keep it up to date;
  2. you have legal capacity and agree to comply with these terms;
  3. you are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher;
  4. you will not access the Services through bots, scripts or other automated means, except as section 7 allows;
  5. you will not use the Services to do anything unlawful or anything we have not permitted; and
  6. your use of the Services will not break any law.

If information you give us is false, inaccurate or out of date, we may suspend or close your account and refuse your current or future use of the Services.

4. User registration

In Short: Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for your account.

You need an account to use most of the Services. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us straight away at support@globalvextraai.com if you think someone else has access to it. An account is for one person; do not share, sell or transfer it. We may remove or change a display name that we reasonably consider offensive, misleading, or an impersonation of someone else.

5. Purchases and payment

In Short: Plans are priced in US dollars and paid through Stripe. Each plan has a monthly number of minutes, and processing stops at that limit — there are no overage charges.

Payment methods. Payments are handled by Stripe on its own checkout pages. You can pay with the cards and wallets Stripe offers at checkout, which may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your full card number.

Prices and tax. Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars, and all payments are made in US dollars. Tax may be added at checkout depending on where you are. You agree to pay the price shown at the time you buy, and you allow us to take that amount from the payment method you select. Keep your payment details and email address up to date so that we can complete payments and contact you.

Minutes. Each plan includes a number of minutes of source video per month. Processing one minute of video uses one minute (also called a token), however many clips it produces. Trimming a video before processing means only the trimmed part counts. Editing and downloading clips you have already made does not use minutes. If a processing job fails, the minutes it reserved are returned to your allowance.

Monthly limit, no overage. When you reach your monthly minutes, new processing pauses until your plan resets or you upgrade. We do not charge for usage beyond your plan. Minutes reset at the start of each billing cycle; unused minutes do not roll over. Stored projects are not affected by the reset.

Free plan. The free plan needs no card. Its clips are lower resolution and carry our watermark, and its limits are shown on the pricing page.

Pricing errors and refused orders. If a price is shown wrongly because of an obvious error, we may correct it, even after you have paid; we will then let you choose between paying the correct price and cancelling with a full refund. We may refuse, limit or cancel a purchase where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse (such as opening several accounts to get more free minutes), or reselling of the Services.

6. Subscriptions

In Short: Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. Upgrades start a new cycle; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have paid for.

Billing and renewal. Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance depending on the plan you choose. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By subscribing, you agree that we may charge your payment method for each renewal without asking you again each time.

Upgrading starts a new billing cycle on the day you upgrade. You pay the full price of the new plan, and any minutes and time left on your old plan end at that point. We show you this before you confirm. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep your current plan until then.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops the subscription renewing; you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. If you have questions or are unhappy with the Services, email us at support@globalvextraai.com.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may limit paid features until it is settled.

Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal, so that you can cancel first if you wish.

7. Prohibited activities

In Short: Use the Services only for their intended purpose, lawfully, and without harming us, our systems or other people.

You may use the Services only for the purpose for which we make them available: making short clips from videos you have the right to use. You agree not to:

  • upload or create content that is illegal, or that infringes anyone else’s copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights;
  • upload sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes terrorism, violence against people, or hatred based on protected characteristics;
  • harass, abuse, threaten, impersonate or defame anyone, or create misleading content designed to deceive people about who is speaking;
  • trick, defraud or mislead us or other users, for example to obtain passwords or account details;
  • upload viruses or other harmful code, or anything that secretly collects information from people, such as tracking pixels, web bugs or spyware;
  • probe, attack, overload or disrupt the Services or the networks connected to them, or get round usage limits, access controls or other security features;
  • access the Services by automated means — bots, scrapers, crawlers, scripts or similar tools — other than ordinary search engines and browsers, or other than through the interfaces we provide;
  • systematically extract data or content from the Services to build a collection or database without our written permission;
  • copy, adapt, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer our software, except where the law allows it, or remove copyright or other notices from our Content;
  • frame or mirror the Services, resell them, or use them to build a competing product;
  • collect other users’ usernames or email addresses, send spam, or open accounts using automation or a false identity;
  • sell or transfer your account, or use a buying agent to purchase on your behalf;
  • abuse the free plan, for example by opening several accounts to get more free minutes; or
  • harass, intimidate or threaten our staff, misuse our support channels, or make false reports of abuse or misconduct.

Breaking these rules may lead to the removal of content and the suspension or closure of your account (section 14).

8. User generated contributions

In Short: Your videos and clips are private to your account and remain yours. You must have the rights to everything you upload.

The Services let you upload videos and create clips, captions, hooks, styles and other material from them (together, your ‘Contributions’). Your Contributions are private to your account: other users cannot see them, and we do not publish them. Our support staff can open an account when that is needed to help you or keep the Services safe, and every such access is logged.

You own your Contributions. We do not claim ownership of the videos you upload or the clips and other output made from them. When you upload a Contribution, you confirm that:

  • you own it or have all the rights, licences and permissions needed to upload it and to have it processed as these terms describe — including permission from people who appear in it where the law requires it;
  • processing it as these terms describe will not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law; and
  • it does not breach section 7.

You are responsible for your Contributions and for what you do with your clips after you download them. We may remove or disable a Contribution that we reasonably believe breaks these Legal Terms or the law, and where it is reasonable we will tell you why.

9. Contribution licence

In Short: You give us only the limited permission we need to process and store your content to provide the Services to you. We do not advertise with it or sell it.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transcribe, analyse, edit, reformat and display your Contributions, and to send them to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to provide the Services to you and keep them secure.

We do not use your videos or clips to advertise our product, we do not sell them, and we do not train our own AI models on them. This licence ends when you delete the Contribution or your account, apart from the short time deletion takes to complete and any copies our AI providers keep under their own terms, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-party websites and content

In Short: We are not responsible for websites and services run by others.

The Services link to, and work with, websites and services run by other companies — for example Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in, and the social platforms you post clips to (‘Third Party Services’). We do not control Third Party Services and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, terms or privacy practices. A link to one does not mean we endorse it. When you use a Third Party Service, its own terms and policies apply, and you should read them.

11. Services management

In Short: We may monitor the Services, limit oversized files and take action against misuse.

We may, but are not obliged to:

  1. monitor the Services for breaches of these Legal Terms;
  2. take appropriate legal action against anyone who breaks the law or these Legal Terms, including reporting them to the police or other authorities;
  3. refuse, restrict or disable a Contribution that breaks these Legal Terms;
  4. limit or refuse files that are too large or too long for your plan, and set reasonable limits on how often features can be used; and
  5. otherwise manage the Services to protect our rights and property and keep the Services working properly.

12. Privacy policy

In Short: Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and where it is processed.

We care about privacy and security. Please read our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Legal Terms. Your information is processed in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. The Privacy Policy names each provider, says where it operates and explains how your information is protected when it leaves the country you are in.

In Short: If you think content on the Services infringes your copyright, tell us and we will look into it.

We respect other people’s intellectual property. If you believe material on or available through the Services infringes a copyright you own or control, email support@globalvextraai.com (a ‘Notification’) with: where the material is, the work you say is infringed, your contact details, and a statement that your Notification is accurate and that you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner.

We will investigate and may remove or disable the material. We may send a copy of your Notification to the person who uploaded the material so that they can respond. You may be liable for damages if you knowingly make a false or misleading Notification, so if you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, consider taking legal advice first.

14. Term and termination

In Short: These terms apply while you use the Services. You can leave at any time, and we may suspend or close accounts that seriously break the rules.

These Legal Terms remain in force while you use the Services.

Ending by you. You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account cancels any subscription straight away (with no refund for the rest of the period) and removes your content as our Privacy Policy describes. It cannot be undone.

Ending by us. We may suspend or close your account, or block access to the Services, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Legal Terms, if the law requires us to, or where it is needed to protect the Services or other users. Where it is reasonable we will tell you why beforehand and give you a chance to put things right. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of your current period.

If we close your account for breaking these Legal Terms, you may not create a new account — in your own name, a false or borrowed name, or anyone else’s — without our permission. We may also take legal action where appropriate.

15. Modifications and interruptions

In Short: The Services may change or be interrupted. We will warn you before changes that matter to you.

Changes to the Services. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Services. If a change seriously affects a paid plan you are on, we will tell you beforehand. If we stop the Services altogether, we will give you reasonable notice and time to download your clips, and refund any period you have paid for but cannot use. We are not obliged to keep any particular feature or to provide updates, except as these Legal Terms say.

Interruptions. We work to keep the Services running, but we cannot guarantee they will always be available. Maintenance, hardware or software problems, or events outside our control may cause interruptions, delays or errors.

Changes to these Legal Terms. We may update these Legal Terms, and we change the date at the top when we do. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Services after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.

16. Governing law

In Short: Scots law applies. Consumers keep the protection of the law where they live and can bring claims there.

These Legal Terms are governed by the law of Scotland. You and we both agree that the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction, but this is not exclusive. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in.

17. Dispute resolution

In Short: Please contact us first. Consumers in the EU can also use an out-of-court dispute resolution body.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@globalvextraai.com — most problems are solved quickest that way. If we cannot resolve it, consumers in the European Union can find a list of out-of-court dispute resolution bodies, by country, on the European Commission’s consumer redress page. Nothing in this section stops you going to court.

18. Corrections

In Short: We may correct mistakes on the Services.

Information on the Services may sometimes contain typing errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including in descriptions, prices and availability. We may correct them and update information at any time. Section 5 explains how we handle a pricing error on a purchase.

19. Disclaimer

In Short: We provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and your legal rights, they are provided as they are.

We provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and from any rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded, the Services are provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’, and to the extent the law allows we give no other promises or guarantees about them. In particular, we do not promise that the Services will meet every need you have, that they will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, that AI output will be accurate, or that information on the Services, or on websites linked from them, is complete and current.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Legal Terms affects those rights.

20. Limitations of liability

In Short: Our liability is limited, except where the law does not allow it to be.

Nothing in these Legal Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded.

Subject to that:

  • we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you agreed to these Legal Terms;
  • we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, followers or audience;
  • we are not liable for how third-party platforms treat clips you post there; and
  • our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and £100.

Some countries and US states do not permit some of these limits. Where such a law covers you, the limits apply only as far as it allows, and you may have further rights under it.

21. Indemnification

In Short: If you use the Services for a business and someone sues us because of your content or your breach of these terms, your business covers our reasonable costs.

If you use the Services for a business, that business agrees to cover our reasonable losses, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from any claim by a third party caused by its Contributions, its breach of these Legal Terms, or its infringement of someone else’s rights. We will tell you about any such claim promptly once we become aware of it, and let you take part in dealing with it. This section does not apply to you if you use the Services as a consumer.

22. User data

In Short: Keep your own copies of anything important.

We store the data you send to the Services, and data about your use of them, to provide and manage the Services. We take reasonable care of it, but the Services are not a backup service and you are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important. We are not liable for the loss or corruption of your data unless it was caused by our failure to take reasonable care.

23. Electronic communications, transactions, and signatures

In Short: We deal with you electronically, and that counts as in writing.

Using the Services, emailing us and completing online forms are electronic communications. You agree to receive communications from us electronically, by email and in the app, and that agreements, notices and other messages we send that way satisfy any legal requirement for them to be in writing. You also agree that accepting these Legal Terms online, placing orders, and the electronic records of your transactions are as valid as signatures and records on paper, to the extent the law allows.

24. California users and residents

In Short: California residents can also contact the state's consumer complaints unit.

California residents whose complaint we have not resolved satisfactorily may raise it with the California Department of Consumer Affairs (Division of Consumer Services, Complaint Assistance Unit) by post to 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone on (800) 952-5210 or (916) 445-1254.

25. Miscellaneous

In Short: General legal provisions.

  • These Legal Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
  • If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still do so later; delay is not a waiver.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Legal Terms to another organisation, for example if the business is sold, as long as your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer yours without our written permission.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
  • If a court decides that any part of these Legal Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
  • These Legal Terms do not create a joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship between you and us.

26. Contact us

In Short: Email us, use our contact form, or write to us.
