Frequently asked questions

Everything about how Global Vextra AI turns long videos into viral-ready clips — how the AI works, what it costs, and what you get.

What is Global Vextra AI?
Global Vextra AI is an AI video clipping tool. You upload one long-form video — a podcast, interview, webinar, stream, or talking-head video — and it finds the most engaging moments, reframes them to the aspect ratio your platform needs, adds styled captions, and returns short, ready-to-post clips. Every clip stays editable afterwards. It can also generate an SEO report from your clip titles and a niche you enter — keywords, hashtags, suggested titles, trending topics, posting times, and profile bios.
How does the AI decide which moments to clip?
The AI reads the full transcript alongside the video and looks for complete moments — a thought that builds to a point, a punchline, or an insight — rather than arbitrary chapter breaks. That is the main difference from clipping tools designed for video editors. Every clip's start and end are bounded to whole words from the transcript, so a clip never opens or closes mid-word. It returns between 3 and 7 moments per video, and you preview the exact clips before they are cut, so you always make the final call.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is $0/month with no credit card required: 30 source minutes per month, 5GB of storage, and 720p output with a watermark. It's built for trying the product on a real video. Paid plans remove the watermark and export in 1080p.
How much does Global Vextra AI cost?
Free is $0/month. Basic is $19/month for 200 source minutes at 1080p with no watermark. Pro is $39/month for 600 source minutes at 1080p. Larger teams and agencies can talk to us about a sales-led Enterprise plan. See the pricing page for full details.
How does token billing work?
One token equals one minute of source video. A 15-minute video uses 15 tokens no matter how many clips the AI extracts. You can trim your video before processing to pay only for the section you care about. Monthly tokens reset each billing cycle; stored projects stay on your plan until you delete them. On paid plans you can carry on past your monthly cap: you confirm, the video processes, and the extra tokens are added to your usage and shown in your account. Those extra tokens are not billed today, and we will tell you before that changes.
What platforms and aspect ratios does it support?
Every clip can be reframed to 9:16 for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts; 1:1 for LinkedIn and X; 16:9 for YouTube; and 4:5 for the Instagram feed. Captions are formatted to match.
Does it add captions automatically?
Yes. Styled captions are generated automatically and burned into each clip. You pick one of nine caption styles when you upload — four of them animate word by word — and you can restyle any clip afterwards, override the font, size, colour, outline and shadow yourself, or fix a mistranscribed word and re-burn just that clip. Captions are optional — you can turn them off.
How many clips do I get per video?
Between 3 and 7, typically about five — however many genuinely strong moments the video contains, rather than a fixed number padded out to hit a quota. So one upload becomes up to a week of short-form content.
What video quality does it export?
The Free plan exports at 720p with a watermark. Paid plans (Basic and Pro) export at full-resolution 1080p with no watermark.
Do my clips or projects expire?
No. Your clips and projects stay on your plan until you delete them — they don't expire while your plan is active. Your monthly tokens reset each cycle, but stored content persists.
What kinds of videos work best?
Long-form talking content works best: podcasts, interviews, webinars, livestreams, YouTube videos, and talking-head recordings. Anywhere there are strong spoken moments to surface, the AI has more to work with.
How is it different from Opus Clip, Submagic, Klap, or Vizard?
The core job is similar, but Global Vextra AI bills per source minute (1 token = 1 minute) so you pay for exactly what you process instead of a fixed monthly bucket, gives you 1080p and watermark-free output on the entry paid plan, never expires your stored clips, and includes built-in SEO content reports. We publish honest side-by-side comparison pages for Opus Clip, Submagic, Klap, and Vizard.
